Campers will be hosted by our wonderful Chinmaya families in Virginia. We have paired up campers with families who have the same gender children. 

 

Transportation:

• Host parents are responsible for transporting campers to and from the Ashram before and after retreat days during the week.

• The Decoding Dharma team will be responsible for any transportation that occurs during the day (ie. bus to field trip, etc.). 

• The Decoding Dharma team and host parents will work to pick JCHYKs up from airports before and after the retreat, if necessary.

 

Food:

• JCHYKs will be provided with a light breakfast at the Ashram, followed by snacks, lunch, afternoon snacks, and a light dinner. Host parents are responsible for heavy breakfast and late dinner. 

• Our Ashram is strictly vegetarian and does not serve any non-vegetarian food or egg products on campus.
