About the Retreat
Decoding Dharma: Simple Living, High Thinking is a residential retreat for junior Chinmaya Yuvakendra (JCHYK) members to learn about Sanatana Dharma. Acharya Vivekji of Niagra Falls, Canada, and Swami Dheeranandaji of CMWRC will present Vedanta's wisdom on how to better understand Sanatana Dharma, and thus inspire our youth to become ambassadors of Hinduism. The retreat will be held from August 17th, 2015 through August 21st, 2015 at Chinmaya Somnath in Chantilly, Virginia.
The retreat will follow the moto of "Simple Living, High Thinking" in various fun and challenging ways. Campers will participate in seva, team building exercises, and other fun activities.
Youth who will begin high school in the fall (incoming ninth graders) up to youth beginning college in the fall (incoming college freshmen) are invited to experience one week of fun and learning with Acharya Vivekji.
Retreat prices are as follow:
$151 until July 27th (Early Registration)
$201 until August 7th (Regular Registration)
Please note that these fees only cover the retreat and all expenses associated with the week.
